Whale sharks, reef and oceanic sharks, rays of all species and sizes, countless tropical and subtropical species, and during the winter months, humpback whales.
This is the program we recommend to get to know the seabed of this corner of Mozambique.
Where to fly
We recommend you to fly to Maputo, with the airlines TAP, Emirates, Qatar, or Turkish. Once in Mozambique, the local airline Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) has an internal flight to Inhambane, located 23 km from Praia do Tofo.
Optionally you can also fly to Johannesburg, South Africa, and take a flight with LAM or CemAir to Vilanculos, located about 4 hours north of Praia do Tofo where we can pick you up.
We can also pick you up at Maputo airport, keeping in mind that it is an 8 hour drive to Praia do Tofo.
For the return flight we recommend the internal LAM AIrlines flight from Inhambane to Maputo, where you will spend one last night before flying to your destination of origin.
Day 1
ARRIVAL TO MOZAMBIQUE
Arrival at Inhambane Airport (Mozambique), where we will be waiting for you. Transfer by road to Praia do Tofo (20 min).
On arrival we will check in at the dive centre and accommodation.
Free afternoon to visit the fishing village of Tofo and the neighbouring Praia da Barra.
Dinner, which is not included, can be arranged at the accommodation or at a restaurant in the village.
Day 2 to day 6
DIVING TOFO
Daily breakfasts at the accommodation.
Transfers to the dive centre, when necessary. We plan 2 dives per day in the morning, with an optional third dive in the afternoon or other activity.
Lunches and dinners are not included, and will be at the accommodation or in the village restaurants.

Day 7
DAY OF RELAX
Breakfast at accommodation. Free day without diving.
Relaxation day or optional extra activities: boat trip to swim with whale sharks, dolphins and manta rays, whale watching excursion (July - November), excursion to Inhambane estuary to look for flamingos and snorkel for seahorses, kayaking excursion, sailing or catamaran trip, visit to the islands in the bay, surfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddle, quad bike trip, visits to local villages, guided cultural excursion, massages and relaxation....
Day 8
DEPARTURE
Breakfast at accommodation.
Transfer to Inhambane Airport (15 min).
